John T. Davis John Taylor Davis, 223 High Point Courts, died at 7: 40 a.m. Tuesday at age 75. He was a retired mechanic. Mr. Davis was born Oct., 12 1887, in Miller County, and had lived in Texarkana 31 years. He was a member of the first Baptist church and the Masonic Order. Surviving are three sisters Mrs. Bertha Peavy, Mrs. Lucy Grose, Mrs. Lena Cochran of Texarkana; two brothers George A Davis, and Guy E. Davis, also of Texarkana; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Sylverino Baptist Church with the Rev. W. V. Garner officiating. Burial will be in the Sylverino cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raymond W. Carrol, Vernon Youngblood, Warren Cochran, L. C. Cochran, Vince Sangalli, James Long, Jack R. Grose, Pat O'Neal and Flemon O'Neal. ************************************************************************
