Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie Aaron, 81, of Rt. 1, Texarkana, who died at 5:40 a.m. Tuesday in a local hospital, were to be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday at Sylverino Baptist Church with Dr. Lewis Lemmond, the Rev. Delbert McAtee, and the Rev. Jimmy Wilson officiating. Burial was to be in Sylverino Cemetery. Pallbearers were V. E. Huff, Walter Huff, Dalton Erwin, Fred Harris, Aleck Huff, William Cross, Alva Heneike and Morris Haak. Born Oct. 9, 1884, in Miller County, Mrs. Aaron was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Sylverino Baptist Church and a charter member of Shiloh Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, A. A. Aaron; a son, Arlie Aaron of Texarkana; three daughters, Mrs. Ira T. Briggs of Texarkana, Mrs. Ralph Jones of Beaumont, Texas, and Mrs. H. A. Briggs of Texarkana; a brother, Almus Davis of Texarkana; three sisters, Nora Bull and Mrs. H. G. Grigson, all of Texarkana; 13 grand- children, 23 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. NOTE: Maiden Name - Jemima F.
