Kevin Naillieux, Berlin Raymond and John Mulford will officiate. Burial will follow at Dreamland Cemetery in Canyon. Bryan died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2001, in Hindsville. Born March 17, 1934, in Happy, to Homer and Dorotha Bryan, he had battled cancer for three and a half years. He graduated from Happy High School in 1952. He was a farmer for four years and had owned and operated Bryan Construction since 1956. He lived and worked in Nacogdoches, Pampa and Decatur before moving to Fayetteville, Ark., then to Hindsville, where he resided until his death. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Bryan on Feb. 1, 1981; his son, Montye Lee Bryan on Feb. 5, 1997 and a nephew. He is survived by two daughters, Sherla Johnson of Hindsville and Nita Riggs of Rogers, Ark.; his mother, Dorotha Bryan of Canyon; two brothers, Harold Bryan of Huntsville, Ark. and Roy Bryan of Happy; two sisters, Laura Bassett of Alpine and Edna Bassett of Happy; six grandsons, Jake, Justin, Jason and Joshua Johnson and Landon and Trenton Riggs; one granddaughter, Chloe Riggs; two great-granddaughters, Kaitlyn and Madison Johnson and several nieces and nephews. The family suggests memorials be made to Circle of Lights Hospice at 610 E. Emma, Springdale, Ark. 72764.
