Hobson Funeral services for J. E. Hobson, 58, of Keo, who died at his home Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, were held at 4 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Keo Baptist church by the Rev. Rel Grey. He is survived by his wife; five sons, Glen of Ferda, Robert of England, Ray and Clarence of Keo, Woody of the U.S. Coast Guard, Harvey of Cedars, New Jersey; two daughters, Mrs. J. M. Whitehead of North Little Rock and Mrs. Don Pitts of England; and nine grandchildren; three brothers, B. F. of Monticello, Charles of Rison and Jim Hobson of Texas; two half-sisters, Mrs. Bertha Hall of Rison and Mrs. Nettie Sneed of Kingsland. Pallbearers were: Active -- Eddy Weintraub, R. L. Ashcraft, Earl Ward, Jack Hillard, Libern Tull, Dugy Joyner, Lee Hopson and Lucian Denny. Honorary -- W. N. Morris, W. L. Magness, Roy Smith, Dr. J. G. Wilson, Dr. L. D. Hutchison, Mr. Joyner, C. R. Bowden, L. A. Swafford, Edd Adams, George Brodie, W. M. Jones, Lewis Morris and Walter French. Burial was by W. M. Wilson.
