     Graveside services for Janel 
Baker, 61, of Ashdown were 
October 15th, 2001, in the Wilton
Cemetery with Rev. Tommy 
Guthrie officiating, under the 
direction of Madden Funeral
Home.  
     Ms. Baker passed away
Oct. 13 in Ashdown.
     She was born Sept. 9, 1940,
in Eden, Tex., and was a 
Baptist.  She was preceeded in
death by her father, David G. 
Seal.
     Survivors include her
mother, Iliene Seal of Boerne,
Tex.; son and daughter-in-
law, Garland and Mary Baker
of Ashdown; daughter and 
son-in-law, Kerrie and Danny
Hallett of Ashdown; two 
brothers, David Seal of Mis-
souri City, Tx., and Lloyd 
Seal of Houston, Tex; seven
sisters, Brenda Lowe of
Ashflat, Ar., Darla Wolf of
Boerne, Tx., Garlene King of
Hardy, Ar., Barbara Powell
and Judy Thompson of 
Houston, Bonnie Braxton of
Palestine, Tx., and Donna
Miller of Groveton, Tx., and
one grandson, Jacob Baker
of Ashdown.
