Mullikin, 42, a lifelong resident of Star City, died Thurs., Oct. 11, 2001, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at Pine Bluff, after losing a battle with cancer. Born January 14, 1959 in Pine Bluff, he was the son of the late Buck C. and Florence Zielinski Mullikin. He was the Manager of Finance and Administration for C & L Electric Cooperative in Star City and a member of the First Baptist Church at Star City, member of the Star City School Board, where he was past president, former Star City Councilman, Arkansas Electric Cooperatives Federal Credit Union Board Member, member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants. Survivors include his wife, Rhonda Frizzell Mullikin of Star City, two daughters, Candace Mullikin and Megan Mullikin, both of Star City, a sister, Mary Lou Latourette of Spring, Texas. Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Sat, Oct 13 at the First Baptist Church in Star City with Brother Randy Magar Officiating. Burial was in Drake Cemetery near Star City by Griffin Funeral Service in Star City. Pall bearers were Ricky Collins, C.B. Leonard, Noew Leach, Gary Wilkins, Greg Smith and Randy Morgan. Honorary pallbearers were the C & L Electric Board of Directory and the Star City School Board. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church at Star City. ************************************************************************
