JOSIAH GARLAND OBIT Col. Josiah Garland, of Lafayette county, died on the 23d of this month. He was one of the oldest citizens in this part of the state - one of the oldest settlers. He was a prominent citizen of his county and a kind and genial gentleman. His death was a great loss to the community in which he lived. ************************************************************************
