Leon Farley.Funeral music was presented by Mrs. Ulis Wilson, pianist, Nita Mae Wilson, Evelyn Harrell, Gladys Terry and Earl Wilson. Casket-bearers were Fred Stanart, Roy Hunt, Fess Underwood, Jake Blair, Ray Reed and Clyde Bowling. Burial was in Chelsea, Cemetery under direction of the Merriott Funeral Service. Neel died Thursday night at the family home following a five weeks illness. A native of Arkansas, Neel was born September 29, 1892 in Melbourne, Izard Co. Ar. He farmed in the Alluwe district until his retirement two years ago when he moved to Chelsea. Surviving is the widow, two sons, Ray Neel and Linley Neel, Wenatachee, Wash, two daughters, Mrs. Marshall Byler and Mrs. Faye Jones, Yachamah, Wash, 17 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Sallie Vannatter and Ollie Vines, Batesville, Ar, three brothers, Joe Neel of Batesville, Grayson, and Allen Neel, Melbourne, Ar, and two half brothers, John Neel of Nowata and Ezra Neel, Maysville, Ar. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Armilda Rush, who died in Nowata, last January. ************************************************************************
