P. Faulkner, and calls her out of this world. She had been ill with the flux about 10 days or two weeks and suffered intensely before the end came. But received the most skillful and careful attention while ill. Aunt Elizabeth was born in Alabama December 1842 and moved to this part of Arkansas in and early __y, reared a family of four children, and made many friends through out this entire land. She was a member of the M. E. Church-South, and lived a consistent Christian life always found speaking words of warning to those who were not saved. She loved God with all her heart, and extended a willing hand for this cause. She was a loving wife and mother who always had words of good counsel for her children. She has one little boy who has gone on before her, but they are once more together to part no more; for their trials and troubles are now over and now will enjoy the victories won on earth. Aunt Elizabeth has borne the burden in the heat of the day and has gone home to meet her little boy and loved ones. She said, "Don't weep for me, I'm going home." We are filled with sorrow to give her up; for to know her was to love her. We extend sympathies to all the bereaved. J. W. Lacefield [This is an obit for my great great grandmother. I don't know what paper it would have been in, most likely the Nashville News, in Howard County as she lived near Umpire. It was in a file with some of my grandmother's things. -- Tammy Sharp] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
