He was born Nov. 9, 1912, in Hot Spring County to the late William Bruce Stacey and Maggie Wallis Stacey. He was a lifetime resident of Malvern. He was retired from Magnet Cove Barium Corporation, a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church, Woodman of the World, Masonic Lodge #78 and a World War II Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Moore Stacey; one brother, Aubrey P. Stacey; and one sister, Alice Dyer, all of Malvern. Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 23, in the Atkinson Funeral Home chapel. Elder Jimmy McDougal will officiate. Burial will be in Oakridge Cemetery under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Service Inc. Masonic services will be performed at graveside. Pallbearers are Larry Stacey, Winfred White, John Huckaby, Jack Taylor, Joe Bailey and Wesley Dyer. Honorary pallbearers are Emmanuel Baptist Men’s Bible Class. (Malvern Dailey Record, June 22, 1993)
