Jimmy Stevens officiating. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, Texas. Mr. Anderson was the son of Walter Alton and Alabama Isabell Landrum, born April 10, 1914 in Hope, Arkansas. He died Friday, May 10, 1997. He was a member of the Huntington Church of Christ and was a retired carpenter from Dow Chemical. He served in the U.S. Army during World War Two. Survivors include his wife, Reva Deler Beard Anderson of Huntington, daughters and son-in-law, Billy Jean and Robert Martin Smith of Bryan, Deborah Kay and Timothy James Armentor of Angleton, sons and daughters- in-law; Neil Edward and Betty Davis Anderson of West Columbia; Roy Arlet and Patsy Mosqueda Anderson, Douglas Ervin and Carman Enriquez Anderson of Angleton; also Robert Wesley and Charlotte Louise Dow Anderon of Bay City, 19 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren. Pallbears were grandsons, Bryan Michael Smith, Edward Alan Anderson, David Michael Anderson, David Michael Anderson, John Joseph Anderson, Robert Lee Anderson and Roy Arlet Anderson, Jr. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Wesley Anderon, J. and Patrick James Peck. Arrangements were under the directions of Gibson Funeral Home in Lufkin.
