Clifford "Pa" Hoyt Barnhart
 Clifford "Pa" Hoyt Barnhart, 91, of Marmaduke, died Sunday, April 4,
2004, at Greene Acres Nursing Home in Paragould. He was born Aug. 26,
1912, in Greene County. He was retired from the Greene County Road
Department. He was a member of Marmaduke General Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie Mae Francis Barnhart; two
sons, James Barnhart and Jerry Barnhart; one son-in-law, Ted Mitchell;
one great-grandson, Andrew Mitchell; and two brothers, Carmen "Cotton
Boll" Barnhart and Dolf Barnhart.
 Survivors include one son, Danny Barnhart of Marmaduke; one daughter,
Frances Mitchell of Marmaduke; one daughter-in-law, Laveda Barnhart; 
one brother, Donald Barnhart of Arizona; six grandchildren, Scott Mitchell,
Tammy Johns, Jerome Mitchell, Lisa Fletcher and Dale Mitchell, all of
Paragould, and Jamie Bennett of Marmaduke; one sister, Mary Ann Stokes 
of Holy Pond, Ala.; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; 
and a host of other relatives and friends.
 Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Irby Funeral Home Chapel 
in Marmaduke with Bro. Kim Bridges officiating. Burial will be at Harvey's
Chapel Cemetery in Marmaduke.
 Active pallbearers are Scott Mitchell, Jerome Mitchell, Dale Mitchell,
Jack Fletcher, Casey Fletcher, Jeremy Mitchell, Josh Mitchell and 
Zachary Mitchell.
 Honorary pallbearers are Gary Franks, Doyne Shaw, Johnny Bozark, Scott
Flannigan and Edward Bennett.
 Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Irby Funeral Home Chapel in
Marmaduke.
