All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm *********************************************************** Dial, Mrs. Nora Evelyn Funeral services for Mrs. Nora Evelyn Dial, aged 75, were held this afernoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Leola Baptist church by Rev. Earl McAllister and burial was in the Leola Cemetery with the Cooper Funeral Company in charge of arrangements. Active pallbearers will be James Lowell Reeves, W. L. Harrison, Edwin Elliott, Arlin Riggan, Walter Butler, Irvin Weaver and Honorary pallbearers will be T. B. Lamb, Frank Davis, W. P. Crowder, T. C. Heard, John Varnell, Leonard Deer, C. T. Appleget, Bill Rankin, Dave Dickson and Jack Harrison. Mrs. Dial was born September 4, 1875 in Dallas County and lived at Leola since 1906. She was married to Joseph W. Dial, who died Aug. 18 of this year, born on November 21, 1894, and was affiliated with the Leola Baptist Church. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Butler of Alameda, Calif., Mrs. W. C. Key of Leola, Mrs. Phillip Deer of Wilson and Mrs. Foyte Butler of Hot Springs, four sons, Roy Dial and Doyle Dial of Llttle Rock, Hallie Dial of Malvern and Jay Dial of Bauxite, two sisters Mrs M.L. McGraw, of Carthage, Mrs. Ella Wallace of Carthage; three brothers, Hiram Riggan ot Carthage, Sam Riggan of Leola and Eddie Riggan of Brewster, Wash.
