FRED S. WELCH
BENTON -- Fred Sidney Welch, 81, of Benton died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1995.
He was born June 21, 1914, at Hattieville and retired from First Electric as a 
groundsman.  He was a member of Mount Carmel Methodist Church and Lanty Masonic 
Lodge.
Survivors include a son, Sidney E. Welch, of Hot Springs; two daughters,
Betty Anthony of Camden and Freda Graber of Benton; a brother, Hobart Welch of 
North Little Rock; a sister, Tilda Tilley of Benton; six grandchildren; and 
seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in the Ashby Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers will be Greg Anthony, Kim Johnson, Alden Graber, Mike Lampinen, 
Densel Dyer and Timothy Welch.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.

Services for  Marie McGrew, 78, of Hot Springs, who died Wednesday, Dec. 27, 
1995, will be at 10 a.m. today at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home with the Rev. Curtis 
Stillwell officiating.  Burial will be in Godwin Cemetery.
