She was born Dec. 24, 1905, at Amity, daughter of Thomas Tucker and Sarah Finney Tucker. She was a housewife. She was predeceased by her first husband, Alvin Waggoner, in 1927 and by her second husband, Claude Brewer, December 1982. She was also predeceased by a son, James Brewer and a daughter, Wanda Dunn. Survivors include two sons, Alvin R. and Richard L. Waggoner of Huntington; two daughters, Euna Sutton of Duncanville, Texas; and Sue Carl of Huntington; a sister, Lenora Waggoner of Glenwood; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren. Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist. He was a nursing aide, lifelong member of Baring Cross Baptist Church of North Little Rock, a Master Mason, retired from the Fort Roots Veterans Hospital, Coast Guard and a U. S. Navy veteran of World War II, and Air Force veteran of the Korean conflict. Survivors include his wife, Ardath Garner of Hot Springs; four sons, John Lee Garner, and Jerry Wayne Brineger, both of Hot Springs, Jimmy Garner of North Little Rock and Don Garner of Conway; and five grandchildren.
