She was born May 20, 1903, in Malvern, to Betty and Annie Bradley Halley. She was a retired teller with merchants & Planters Bank. She was member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Business & Professional Women, Pilot Club and First Presbyterian Church in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Brown Cuningham; and son, Charles Cunningham. Survivors include one son, James H. Cuningham of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Virginia Bowman of Neosho, Missouri; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery in Little Rock with the Rev. Catherine Ulrich officiating. Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Sunday, August 16, 1992 Page 6C ESTHER Q. TILLERY with picture Esther Q. Tillery, 84, of Hot Springs, died Friday, Aug. 14, 1992, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Hot Springs and in the mid 1900s was post-mistress of Mountain Valley. She was preceded in death by one son, John Robertson, and one daughter Billie Trout. Survivors include one son, Lloyd Robertson of Dallas; four daughters, Marie Sterret of San Antonio, Texas, Mary Reich of Houston, and Betty Bates and Joyce Denson, both of Hot Springs; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Caruth Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harold Thompson and Terry Dorsey officiating. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. CROSS Edward F. Cross, 79, of Hot Springs, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1992, in a Hot Springs hospital. He was the founder of Cross Auto Supply Inc. in Morrilton, Dardanelle and Ozark, a member of Central Baptist Church. A veteran of World War II where he served as a u. s. Navy chief petty officer, past president of Morrilton Chamber of Commerce, an adult men’s Bible class teacher for 25 years and a deacon. He was a resident of Hot Springs for eight years, having moved from North Little Rock. Survivors include his wife, Lee’o Cross of Hot Springs; one brother, Ernest M. Cross of Kansas City, Kansas; and one sister, Beatrice Newburn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Shinn Funeral Home Chapel in Russellville with the Rev. Curtis Smithson officiating. WILLIAM L. LITTLE (partial) PINE BLUFF -- William Lewis “Bill” Little, 73, of Pine Bluff, died Thursday, Aug. 20, 1992 at his home. A native of Mansfield, he was a graduate of the University of Arkansas and the Stonier School of Banking and became a licenses securities broker in 1984. He began his career as an accountant with Hennigan, Croft and company in Little Rock, served as a special agent with the FBI, was former vice-president with Arkansas Bank and Trust co. in Hot Springs serving until he moved to Pine Bluff. ANNIE SHACKELFORD HOUSTON -- Annie Mary Anderson Shackelford, 97, of Houston, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 1992, at Houston nursing home. She was born July 15, 1895, in Okolona, to Edgar W. and Nancy Stewart Anderson. She was a homemaker and member of First Christian Church. She was widow of Bert Shackelford. Survivors include one daughter, Nancy Hurst of Houston; one sister, Elizabeth Laney of Little Rock; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. McMAIN SPRINGDALE -- James Robert McMain, 59, of Springdale, died Sunday, August 24, 1992, in a Fayetteville hospital. He was a member of the Veterans of the Foreign Wars and a Pentecostal. Survivors include his wife, Hazel Key McMain of Springdale; one son, Bobby McMain of Henderson, Kentucky; six daughters, Patricia Sallee of Henderson, Debbie Ellis of Morganfield, Kentucky, Robin Beshear and Tammy McMain of Princeton, Kentucky; and Jeanie Oldham and Monica Foster of Sturgis, Kentucky; one brother, Douglas McMain of Dawson Springs, Kentucky; four sisters, Irene Pease of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, Thelma Ratley and Lu--le Pease, both of Sturgis, and Carolyn Taylor of Downey, California. Mooney, 79, of Hot Springs, died Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1992, in a local hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Hot Springs, was a retired employee of Hot Springs Water Works, member of First Baptist Church of Mountain Pine, and a Navy veteran of World War II. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Money. (My note*** I wonder if they made a mistake and should this be Mooney? BS) Survivors include one son, Mickey Mooney of Hot Springs; one daughter, Carolyn Ridley of Hot Springs; one brother, Buster Mooney of Hot Springs; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Hot Springs Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home. ALTON L. REYNOLDS NEW DE ROCHE -- Alton “Al” Reynolds, 67, of New DeRoche, died Monday, Aug. 24, 1992, in a Hot Springs hospital. He was born Aug. 2, 1925, in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, to the late Willie Reynolds and Sophie Spence Reynolds. He was a farmer, a used car dealer, a U. S. Army veteran and a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Juanita Jones Reynolds of New DeRoche; one son, Alton L. Reynolds, Jr. of Little Rock; two stepsons, Richard Watkins of Mississippi; three daughters, Donna Johnson of Mississippi and Kimberly Reynolds and Sheree Reynolds, both of New DeRoche; one brother, Alford Reynolds of Tennessee; and seven grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Southern Baptist Church with the Rev. Dee Birdwell officiating. Burial will be in Burnett Cemetery in Hot Spring County by Atkinson Funeral Services Inc. of Malvern.
