She was born June 21, 1901, in Arkadelphia to Harmon and Elizabeth Meadow Bishop. She was a homemaker and a member of Manchester United Methodist Church. She was the widow of Roy S. Adams. Survivors include three sons, Roy G. Adams of Flint, Michigan, Donnie Adams of Burleson, Texas, and Ronnie H. Adams of Grand Prairie, Texas; two daughters, Eula Faye Adams Grant of Arkadelphia and Betty Sue Adams Watson of Hurst, Texas; four sisters, Alma Watson McGraw of Hurst, Texas, Eva Golden Scott, Louise Lyon Garner and Jan Bishop Bowden, all of Arkadelphia; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandhcildren. Service will be at 10 a.m. Sat. at Manchester United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Trieschmann and Chris Kiesling officiating. Survivors include two sons, Herbert Goessman of Tacoma, Washington, and Walter Goessman of Conway; four daughters, Virginia Haley and Audrey Outler, both of Hot Spirngs, Faye Murphy of Oscal, Florida, and Melvina Hollis of Siloam Springs; one sister, Lydia Christine Liable of Wichita, Kansas; 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. He was born Nov. 14, 1923, in Arkadelphia to William Erastis and Callie Cook Rogers. He was the retired owner of Rogers. He was the retired owner of Rogers Construction Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Arkadelphia. Survivors include two sons, Roger Rogers of Hamilton, Mont., and Stan Rogers of Wichita, Kansas; one daughter, Robin Rogers Thomas of Amarillo, Texas; his mother, Callie Cook Rogers of Arkadephia; one sister, King Wallis of Benton; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He resided in Friendship for the past 18 yrs., was a retired executive with Reynolds International, a past member of the Hot Spring County Memorial Hospital Board and a board member of Central Ark. He was born Jan. 2, 1943, in Hot Springs to James Apple and Vivian O’Neida Keith Apple. He Spent most of his life in Torrence, California, where he was a truck driver and construction worker. He was a Protestant. Survivors include his son, Shawn Apple of California; his mother, Vivian O’Neida East of El Cajon, Calif.; one half brother, Gerald East of Anchorage, Alaska; and one stepbrother, Wesley East of Longview, Washington. He was a retired farmer, a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, a member of St. Joseph’s Society, a third-degree member of Knights of Columbus, a member of Ark. Cattlemen’s Assoc, ASCS and the Ark. Poultry Federation. He was a member of the board of directors of Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife, Louise B.
