DEWITT CONINE ************* LITTLE ROCK--Dewitt Conine, 72, of Little Rock, died Thurs., March 21, 1991, at his home. He was a retired millwright with Reynolds Metal Co. Survivors include three daughters, Alberta Swedden of Little Rock, Debra Sherman of Lancaster, California, and Linda Balaban of Edmund, Oklahoma; one brother, James C. Conine of Malvern; two sisters, Murphy Massey of Hot Springs and Virginia Bernard of fort Worth, Texas; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Thompson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today at Caruth Funeral Home. ELTA S. ENLOW ************* Elta S. Enlow, 83, of Hot Springs, died Sat., March 23, 1991, in Hot Springs. A native of Hot Springs, she was the retired owner of Hollywood Dress Shop and a member of the Lakeview Assembly of God Church, the Citizens Club and Daughters of the Confederacy. Survivors include her husband, Jay C. Enlow of Hot Springs; one son, Raymond C. Harris of Joplin, Missouri; three sisters, Evelyn Banks of Malvern, Marjorie Watkins of Hot Springs Village and Mrs. Buddy Terry of Spring, Texas; one step-son, J. B. Enlow of Hot Springs; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later by Gross Funeral Home. JACK L. JENNINGS **************** HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE--A memorial service for Jack L. Jennings, 69, of Hot Springs Village, who died Tues., March 19, 1991, will be at 2:30 p.m. today in Village United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Tanner officiating. Burial will be private. Arrangements are by Caruth Village Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Village e of Canton, Mississippi, she was registrar at Ouachita Baptist University for many years and held several masters degrees in different fields of study. She was the widow of Rab Rodgers. Survivors include one son, Raboo Rodgers of Bangkok, Thailand; one daughter, Kay Rodgers of San Francisco; and four grandchildren. No services will be held. OLSON with picture ************** LITTLE ROCK--Hilma Pauline Olson, 94, of Little Rock, died Friday, March 22, 1991. A native of Sweden, she had been an American citizen for more than 60 years and was a retired masseuse who worked at bath houses in Hot Springs National Park and later had private practice in Little Rock. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church of Little Rock and numerous groups and bridge clubs. Survivors include one nephew, Rolf Sanderberg; two nieces, Inga-Britt Sanderberg and Eva Zedig, both of Sweden; and five cousins, Phyllis Carlson Schwitzer and Christine N. Carlson, both of Indiana, Patty Carlson Roddenberry of Hot Springs, Carl G. Carlson of Star City and Gary S. Carlson of Virginia. She was preceded in death by cousins, John Richard Carlson of Indianapolis and Carl Arthur Carlson of Hot Springs. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tues., at Faith Lutheran Church with Pastor Harlan Kaden officiating. Visitation will follow at the church. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Tues. in Memorial Gardens in Hot Springs under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home of Little Rock. Spencer, 71, of Hot Springs, died Sat., March 23, 1991, in Hot Springs. He was an aircraft mechanic and a veteran of WW II. Survivors include his wife, Betty Spencer of Hot Springs; three sons, Larry Spencer of Perris, California and Mark Spencer and Troy Spencer, both of Hot Springs; one daughter, Melissa Macis of LaMesa; California; his mother, Hazel Spencer of Port Charlotte, Florida; one sister, Violet Williams of Port Charlotte; and two grandchildren. Cremation will be under the direction of Gross Funeral Home. WILLIAM E. TAYLOR ***************** MALVERN--William Ellis Taylor, 76, of Malvern, died Fri., March 22, 1991. He was a retired logger and a Pentecost. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Taylor of Malvern; one son, Robert Taylor of Malvern; five daughters, Ruby Sutton of Malvern, Lena Cassady of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Louise Earnest of Prattsville, Ella Benning of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Shirley Robinette of Hot Springs; one brother, Freeman Taylor of Malvern; one sister, Myrtle Efird of Gifford; 18 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Oak Bower Cemetery in Bismarck under the direction of Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern. SHERMAN D. VINES **************** LITTLE ROCK--Sherman Dood Vines, 68, of Little Rock, died Sun., Mar. 23, 1991, in Little Rock. A native of Sims, he was a retired mechanic for Ben Hogan Construction Co., a member of the Mabelvale Church of Christ and a U. S. Army veteran of WW II. Survivors include his wife, Lucille Wehunt Vines of Little Rock; one son, Dan Vines of Hensley; two daughters, Lynda Lamberson of Russellville and Nancy Ashley of Little Rock; one brother, Lee Vines of Cabot; four sisters, Viola Standerfer of Fallbrook, California, Florene Curtis of San Jancinto, California, Irene Gibbs of Eight Mile, Alabama, and Beulah Forga of Hot Springs; and five grandchildren.
