She was a retired nurse, a member of the North Main Church of Christ and was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ainsworth. She was a lifelong resident of Montgomery County and was a housewife and a member of the Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Babe" Ballew; a son, Leland Ballew; and a daughter, Lola Lambert. Survivors include eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. McCasland, 82, of Hot Springs, died Wed., Feb. 27, 1991, at a local hospital. A native of Atoka, Okla., he worked for many years for the Oklahoma State Dept. of Corrections as superintendent of prisons at Stringtown and McLoud Honor farms. He retired in 1975 and move to Hot Springs. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a member of the Oklahoma Sheriff and Peace Officers Assoc. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Willa Mae Taylor McCasland, two brothers and two sisters. Survivors include his wife, Pauline McCasland of Hot Springs; one son, Hayden McCasland Jr. of Norman, Oklahoma; four daughters, Alice Presson and Sharon Shokat, both of Norman, Nina Holden of Las Cruces, New Mexico, and Roberta McCasland of Hot Springs; two brothers, Stanton McCasland of Odessa, Texas, and Mark McCasland of Atlanta, Texas; and 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
