Bill Taylor of Afton township, died Tuesday morning at 1 o’clock after
an illness of 100 days, of heart disease.  “Uncle Bill,” as he was
familiarly known, was a great character, strong in his convictions and
firm.  He was buried Wednesday.  With his passing went one of the
original land marks of our pioneer days.  We are sorry.
