R. H. DIBRELL From the Richmond Virginia Times of January 8, we take the following account of the death and history of Mr. Richard H. Dibrell, of this city. Mr. R. H. Dibrell passed away quietly yesterday at 2:10 o’clock at his residence, North 12 East Main Street in his 74 years surrounded by most of his family, by whom his death had been hourly expected for some days. Some years ago he was paralyzed and since that time his condition has been precarious. Mr. Dibrell was a charter member of Jopps Lodge, A.F. and A.M. and a trustee of Centenary Methodist Church. He leaves a widow and four children, W. E. Dibrell of this city, R. L. Dibrell of Danville, Virginia, Mrs. W. R. Walker of Raleigh, North Carolina and Mrs. R. W. Bury of New York, and an adopted daughter, Mosselle D. Apperson; Doctor James A. Dibrell of Van Buren, Arkansas an older brother, and a sister, Mrs. Doctor G. W. Whitefield of Alabama survives him.
