CURTIS YOUNG Curtis Ray YOUNG was born in Pocahontas Jan. 5, 1958 son of Clifton and Opal YOUNG. He died Oct. 13, 2008 in Northeast Arkansas Baptist Hospital, Jonesboro. He was 50. A car salesman with businesses throughout Arkansas and Missouri, he was an active member of Myrtle First Baptist Church and always willing to help others in need. His laughter and jokes will be missed by many. survivors include one sister Gayla (Ron) HUDDLE, Thayer, MO; three nephews Tim (Connie) RHOADES, Nixa, MO, Jason (Sherry) RHOADES, Thayer and Eric HUDDLE, Thayer; one niece Brandi (Terry) WILSON, Ozark, MO; 7 great nieces and nephews; 7 cousins, 2 aunts, Eva (Bob) THOMPSON, West Plains, MO and Edna ARMSTRONG, Cuba, MO; special friend Trudy BANKS, Thayer; close friend and business partner Loren BARTON, Thayer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services were held in Myrtle First Baptist Church, Myrtle, MO. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Myrtle. HENRY ROHLFING, JR. Henry "Hank" ROHLFING, JR., was born in Neelyville, MO, Feb. 28, 1924, son of Mabel and Henry ROHLFING. During his early years, Hank, his mother and stepfather, Joe THOMAS, lived in and around Success where he had a large extended family. Hank attended Success Baptist Church. He served bravely in the Pacific Theatre as a proud Marine during WW II. He married his childhood sweetheart, Carrie Sue HUBBARD on June 16, 1946 at the HUBBARD home in Success. He and Sue were the proud parents of 2 wonderful daughters, Linda MARTIN BREWER and Judy MOLNER; 4 grandsons, Bradd MOLNER, Tom and Bret MARTIN and Johnny CLARK; 4 great-grandsons, Jake and Mark MARTIN and Matthew and Mark MOLNER; 3 great-granddaughters, Michelle MARTIN, and Cassandra and Breeana CLARK. Hank was also blessed with two fine sons-in-law, Gene BREWER and Terry MOLNER. Hank and Sue lived in Norwalk, CA for 58 years. He retired from Rockwell Aviation in 1991. He died peacefully in his sleep at a much anticipated HUBBARD family reunion in Loomis, CA. He was interred with military honors in Rosehills in Whittier, CA, Wed. Oct. 8, 2008.
