HANNAH E. DEMENT Hannah Elizabeth DEMENT was born in Newport Aug. 18, 2007. She died in her home in Corning from Krabbe's disease on Aug. 19, 2008. She was one year old. Survivors are her parents, Joshua and Kristie RAPERT DEMENT; grandparents Richard and Deanna RAPERT, Pocahontas and David and Lisa DEMENT, Imboden' great-grandparents include Howard and Patsy RAPERT, Pocahontas and Karen SMITH, Pocahontas. Also John and Donna UTNAUG, Imboden, Jere and Margaret WHITESIDE, Cherokee Village and Doug DEMENT, Nashville, TN; great-grandparents Geneva UTNAUG and Ruth MENARD, both of Pocahontas. Funeral services were conducted Friday, Aug. 22, 2008 in McNABB Funeral Home Chapel with Gerald FEARS, Ralph WALLIS and John BINKLEY officiating. Burial in Old Union Cemetery. Pall bearers, Cliff HENARY, Brian DEMENT, Jack RAPERT and Ben RAPERT. DENNIS McFARLIN Dennis McFARLIN was born May 17, 1953 in Paragould, son of Glenville and Louise McFARLIN. He died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2008. He was 55. A member of Grassylead Church of Christ, he was employed by Shawn STEWART Cars and delivered used cars. Survivors include one son, Brian McFARLIN; 4 brothers Sidney McFARLIN, Corning, Leonard DARR and Kenny DARR both of Mountain Home and Larry DARR, Jonesboro; two sisters Norma Jo WHITE, Corning and Mary Pelts, Mountain Home. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2008 at Corning Cemetery under the direction of ERMERT Funeral Home. RICK EDINGTON Rick EDINGTON was born in Pocahontas Sept. 23, 1952 son of James David and Anna Jean HEARRING EDINGTON. He died in an automobile accident near Stokes Wed. Aug. 20, 2008. He was 55. Serving as the mayor of Datto, he was a heavy equipment operator for ALLISON Construction and member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Nov. 12, 1971, he married his wife Debbie and she survives. Other survivors are two sons, Jimmy Lee EDINGTON, Fort Drum, NY. and Jeremy Chad EDINGTON, Datto; one grandson Tyler Chad EDINGTON, Paragould; one brother James D. EDINGTON, Reyno; two sisters Kaffie SMITH, Pocahontas and Arminda KOHLBRECHER, Abilene, TX. He was preceded in death by parents. Funeral services were conducted Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008 in ERMERT Funeral Home Chapel with Roger HOVIS officiating. Burial in Johnston Cemetery in Reyno. "GINNY" BRASHERS Mabel Virginia "Ginny" BRASHERS, Jonesboro, died Monday, Aug. 25, 2008 in her home. She was born in Poplar Bluff, daughter of Ludolph and Mabel FLEMMING SAYLES. She lived in Corning for many years before moving to Jonesboro. She was 62. A factory worker for L.A. DARLING Company, she was a member of Northside Christian Church. Survivors include her sons, Charles (Becky) WELLS, Corning, Nathan (Vicki) BRASHERS, Baconton, GA, Vic (Elaine) BRASHERS, Jr. Alvin, TX, Pat (Tracey) BRASHERS, Corning; two daughters Carol (David) BRICKLEY, Jonesboro and Heather (Chris) WINBERRY, Jonesboro; 25 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Victor BRASHERS; one son Brad BRASHERS; parents; one sister Nancy SAYLES. Funeral services were Wed. She died in Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, Paragould, Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008. She was 82. November 25, 1945 she married Clarence E. "Speedy" THOMAS. REGINA MORGAN Regina MORGAN was born in Brookings, April 10, 1941, daughter of William and Tiny BYERS ARCHER. She died in St. Bernards Regional Medical Center, Jonesboro, Sat. Aug. 23, 2008. She was 67. She was retired from Corning Wal-Mart. Survivors are two sons Cary (Myra) MORGAN and Loid Morgan, both of Peach Orchard; two daughters LaDona (Ray) Niedermeier and Belinda (Dave) BURTON, both of Peach Orchard; four grandchildren Megen RINEY, Chasity MORGAN, Heath NIEDERMEIER and Britney NIEDERMEIER, one great grandson Chase RINEY. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Robert MORGAN who died April 10, 1997; two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held Tues.
