LARRY BLUNK Larry M. BLUNK, Trumann, was born in Corning, April 29, 1942 son of Jim and Evelyn NESLER BLUNK. He died Wed. Aug. 13, 2008 in his home in Trumann, where he had resided for the past 28 years. He was 66. Retired from the U.S. Marine Corp and the U.S. Postal Service in Trumann, he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors are his wife, Loraine BLUNK of the home; two sons, James Richard SHARP and Eddie Wayne SHARP, both of Trumann; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Jimmy Dale BLUNK and one sister Patsy OWENS. Born Nov. 12, 1928 in Peach Orchard, daughter of Wiley and Mae VALANCE RICKER. She married John McCONNELL who preceded her in death Dec. 21, 2007. She enjoyed crosswords, bowling, reading and spending time with her family and dog, Benny. Survivors include sons, Pat of Stillman Valley, Mike (Judy) of Missouri, Dan (Gail) of Rockford, IL, Tony (Jody) of Arkansas and Vic (Jayne) of Byron, IL; daughter Terri (Curt VANGSNESS) VICH of Rockford, IL; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; sister Maxine (Wayne) LYONS; brothers Wiley, Bud (Ada), Dolan (Lynette), Dean and Sony; special niece, Becky Mae. A 2007 graduate of Senath-Hornersville High School, she was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church.
