Ellen Amelia Taylor (1877-1949) MRS. C. H. WYATT DIES IN HOSPITAL Mrs. C. H. Wyatt, age 71, died at 6:30 o'clock this morning at the Kennedy-Ross Clinic in Arkadelphia. She was born September 28, 1877 in Dallas County the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. P. G. Taylor. She was married to C. H. Wyatt October 20, 1895. Funeral services will be held at the Murry Funeral Church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. J. B. Hefley, pastor of the Arkadelphia First Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be at the Bethlehem cemetery. She is survived by four sons, A. M., D. C., B. W., and R. S., all of Arkadelphia; three daughters, Mrs. Roy Harrell and Mrs. Earl Brooking of Arkadelphia, and Mrs. Ruth Evans of Aransas Pass, Tex., one sister, Mrs. R. F. Harwell of North Little Rock; three brothers, J. E. Taylor of Los Angeles, Calif., J. R. Taylor of Sacremento, Calif., and C. F. Taylor of Waldo; and 18 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Wyatt (1897-1965) REUEL SYLVESTER WYATT DIES AT HOME Reuel Sylvester Wyatt, aged 67, of Arkadelphia, died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired sawmiller. He was a veteran of World War 1 and a member of the American Legion. He was born at Donaldson. He is survived by two sons, Reuel S., Jr. of Highland, Texas and Benny Lewallyn of Lanchester, Texas; two daughters, Mrs. Billy D. Hill and Miss Peggy Wyatt, both of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Alva Wyatt of Arcadia, La., Coleman Wyatt of Arkadelphia and Wayne Wyatt of Texarkana; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lewis of Aransas Pass, Texas, Mrs. Roy Harrell and Mrs. Pearl Brooking both of Arkadelphia; and twelve grandchildren. The funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m. today (Thursday) in the Murry-Ruggles funeral chapel and burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery. WYATT Bernard Wayne Wyatt, 51, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday in a local hospital. He had lived in Texarkana the past 15 years, moving from Arkadelphia. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his widow, Helen; one son, Dennis of Texarkana; two daughters, Amelia Jane and Deloris Ann, both of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Coleman of Arkadelphia, and Alvie of Plain Dealing, La.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lewis of Aransas Pass, Mrs. Verna Harrell and Mrs. Pearl Brooking both of Arkadelphia. Funeral services wil be at 2 p.m. Monday at Texarkana Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. L. D. Yates officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home. He was a sawmill foreman and a Baptist. Survivors include two sons, William Wyatt with the Air Force in Missouri and Wendell Wyatt of Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. James Walters of Virginia and Mrs. Bill Kilpatrick of Oklahoma; a brother, Coleman Wyatt of Arkadelphia; three sisters, Mrs. Verna Harrell and Mrs. Pearl Brooking, both of Arkadelphia and Mrs. Ruth Lewis of Texas; and six grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. today at the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Chapel here. Burial will be at Salem Cemetery near Glenwood. Gazette State News Service - August 1967 ============= Ira Verna Wyatt (1904-1970) MRS. VERNA HARRELL Mrs. Verna Wyatt Harrell, aged 65, died Wednesday of last week in Clark County Memorial Hospital. She was born near Arkadelphia, Sept. 18, 1904, the daughter of Charles H. Wyatt and Amelia Taylor Wyatt. Mrs. Harrell was a lifelong resident of Arkadelphia. She was a seamstress with Nu-Way Cleaners for 25 years. Mrs. Harrell was a member of the First Baptist Church and Fidelis Sunday School. Survivors include her husband, Roy Harrell; one son, Master Sgt. Roy A. Harrell, US Air Force, Arlington, Tex; two daughters, Mrs. John B. Logan of Ft. Worth, Tex. and Mrs. G. Max Stegall of Orange, Tex.; one brother, Coleman Wyatt of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lewis of Aransas Pass, Tex. and Mrs. Pearl Brooking of Arkadelphia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Faye Brown Wyatt; one son, Dennis Wyatt of Arkadelphia; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 1994 at the Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Murry-Ruggles Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or favorite charity.
