William Pharris Feb. 5, 1959 Arkadelphia Southern Standard

William A. Pharris Retired Farmer Of Curtis Jct. Dies
William Ab Pharris, aged 82, retired farmer of Curtis Junction, died 
on Wednesday, February 4 at Clark County Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Jackson County, Tennessee but had lived in Clark
County for many years. He was a member of the Unity Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lena Ellis Pharris, a son, Floyd 
Pharris of Hope, one daughter, Mrs. Martha Bell Burns of Arkadelphia; 
one brother, Palo Pharris of Gainsboro, Tennessee; one sister, Mrs. 
J. B. Hanna of Old Hickory, Tennessee; five grandchildren and five great
grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 2 p. m. today (Thursday) at Murry’s Funeral
Church. Burial will be at Unity Cemetery.
