Hall Mr. David C. Hall died at his residence in this city, Tuesday night, the 24th inst., from inflammation of the bowels, caused by measles. Mr. Hall came to Clark County in 1836, raised one crop and then moved to Dallas County, where he resided until last spring, when he removed to this city for the purpose of educating his children in the Baptist college. Mr. Hall at his death was 65 years old, and had been a member of the Baptist church for over 40 years. He was a truly good man and citizen, and the entire community feels his loss. A wife, seven children and a host of relatives and friends mourn his demise. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. G. W. Reeves, were held in the Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, and the remains, escorted by a large concourse of mourners, were conveyed to Rose Hill cemetery and consigned to their last resting place.
