He was a retired employee of the New York Telephone Company and a member of the Huntington United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Emily Hopkins; one son, Jimmy Hopkins of Rhode Island; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Hardage and Mrs. Charles Fulton of North Little Rock and Mrs. Kathleen McClain of Arkadelphia and one grandson. Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. in Huntington. Burial was at the National Cemetery at Huntington. ************************************************************************
