She was born December 18, 1911, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late William Jasper Stewart and Josie Iretta Williams Stewart. She was a retired sales clerk for Hurley Hardware Co., a member of First Baptist Church and the widow of Noah Everette Jeffers whom she married December 24, 1933, in Bradley County. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1987. Surviving are 2 sons, Bob Jeffers, Paragould, Arkansas and Joe Jeffers, Arkadelphia; 1 daughter, Judi Scobey, Alcoa, Tenn.; 3 sisters, Beatrice Gambill and Juanita Temple, both of Warren, and Susie Blackwell, Texarkana, Tex.; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grand:.. children. . Funeral services were 1 :30 p.m. Sunday, January 17, at Frazer's Funeral . Home with the Rev. Greg Stanley officiating. Mrs. Sharon Stanley. sang. Burial was in Moseley Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home. Pallbearers included Phillip, Jerry, and Tim Temple and Bubba, Terry and Richard Gambill. Honorary pallbearers included Jack Gambill and Edwin Moseley.
