I am submitting this obit with corrections and addition for genealogy. My older brother submitted this to the newspaper without thought of what it might mean to future generations. Mainly who her mother was. Her mother was Bertie Hanshew Tolbert who died in 1908. Her stepmother, Rebecca Ann Adams Tolbert, raised her. This is the correction made. Maiden names were added to her daughter's names and also to her name.) Ollie Pearl Tolbert Senning of Wayton (printed in Boone County Headlight, Harrison (Ark) Daily Times, Aug. 28, 1975 Mrs. Ollie Pearl Tolbert Senning aged 69 of Wayton, AK died at her home Friday, Aug 22, 1975 She was born Jan. 5, 1906 at Hope AK, daughter of the late Melvin Tolbert and Bertie Hanshew Tolbert. She was a resident of Newton County for 16 years and a member of the Wayton Freewill Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Albert M. Senning and son James R. Carpenter of Odessa TX. Survived by sons: Vyron M. Carpenter of Weatherford TX, George E. Gorman of North Little Rock, AK, Robert H. Gorman of Munich, Germany, and Patrick C. Senning of Houston, TX. Daughters: Frances I. Carpenter Lane of Odessa TX, Bertie Pearl Gorman Jayroe of Houston, TX. Irma Gorman Irwin of Irving, TX, Step daughters Ruth Senning DeBouver of Beeville TX, and Doris Senning Mayon of Wayton AK, 25 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were 2:30 p.m., Tuesday Oct 26, 1975 at Freewill Baptist Church in Wayton, Burial in Snow Cemetery, Wayton. Pallbearers were her 4 sons and grandsons Johnny Q Jayroe, Jr. and Albert D. Mayon.
