W. NICHOLS Harve Nichols, a truck farmer living north of Harrison passed away Tuesday morning, July 25, about 10 o'clock from a heart attack that was probably brought on by his becoming overheated. Mr. Nichols was born at Bear Creek, April 29, 1878 and his life was passed in this county. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Brentley Nichols prominent residents of the Bear Creek community. He is survived by his children Mrs. Jim Jones and Guy Nichols both of Harrison, a sister Mrs. George Burlsworth of Bear Creek, and his brothers Sam and John Nichols of Harrison, James A. Nichols of St. Joe, George Nichols of Westville, Okla., and Allen Nichols of California. The funeral service was conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Holt Funeral Home by Rev. J. T. Alam. Interment was made in the Summers cemetery. *************************************************************************** Added by submitter: "I don't know what newspaper it came from but presumably Harrison, AR. The date of death is July 25, 1939. He was preceded by his wife Emma Lane (Stevens) Nichols on May 8, 1939.
