SIKES, Almira - (from The Rogers Republican) Mrs. Almira Sikes, wife of
J Wade Sikes, died last Friday morning. The funeral was held Saturday
afternoon at 1 o'clock and the services were conducted by Dr. W.F. Green
of Lowell. Mr. Sikes is one of our oldest residents of Rogers and a
brother of B F Sikes, the founder of the town. Mrs. J.B. Lee and
daughter, Miss Sallie of Bentonville, attended the funeral. Mrs. Lee is
a sister of the deceased.
