The Mountain Eagle newspaper 11/30/1944

Rhoda O'Rear, 73, died following a stroke. She had been in bad health for 10 
years. The funeral was held at Northside Baptist Church. Surviving are three 
daughters, Mrs. John Barton, Mrs. Annie Davis, Mrs. John West and one son, 
Burley O'Rear.
