She was about 90 years of age and was a faithful member of the Primitive Baptist Church and was loved by all who knew her. Her loving companion went home 12 years ago. She leaves to mourn her death five daughters and 3 sons; Mrs. Martha Drewry (Dreher), whom she had lived with for about 12 years; Mrs. Linda Parker, Mrs. Betty Norris, Mrs. Troy Banks, Mrs. Tom Haywood, John, Alf and Wallace Barton, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, relatives and friends. Aunt Nancy had been confined to her bed the greater part of 11 years. We cannot understand why she had to suffer so long, but God knew best. Now she is not suffering but is sweetly at rest. Burial was in Boldo cemetery, funeral services being conducted by Bro. Parker and Bro. Putman. Additional Comments: Nancy was the wife of William Wallace Barton. They resided in the Boldo community of Walker County, Al. This file has been created by a form at http://www.poppet.org/alfiles/ File size: 1.6 Kb
