Box Butte County
(Hemingford)
Running Water Cemetery
Tombstone Photos

Directions are: Drive 16 miles north of Alliance on Highway 87. For those with older Nebraska Maps this is now the highway that goes north out of Alliance on the east side of town. At 16 miles north of Alliance there is an old brick school on the west side of the Highway. Go around this school and continue north on County Road 59 (CR59) which is a gravel road. Drive 7 miles north of the school until you come to a private residence at the dead end. The cemetery is approximately one mile to the west of this residence but as this cemetery is in the middle of a pasture on private land You must stop and ask permission from the land owner.
