David Dunn Estate papers

19 Mar 1785 - Kitty Dunn and Moses Ernul filed Administtator's Bond to 
settle all and singular the goods and chattels, rights and credits of David 
Dunn.

7 Apr 1785 - Inventory of David Dunn sold. Kitty Dunn was the only Dunn 
buyer and she bought a large number of items. Sales £326-7-0

12 Oct 1786 - An inventory of sales on the remainder of the personal estate 
of David Dunn late of Craven County Dec'd.
One Negro man named Ned -- Nathan Smith £143-10
One Negro woman named Ruth -- Nathan Smith 142-00
One Negro child named Joy -- Charles Williams 32-00
One Negro garl named Ada -- David Lewis 106-15
One Negro boy named Sutton -- William Gaston 111-00
Total £535-5

1789 - Aaron Ernul guardian of David D. Dunn boarding, receipt for clothing 
and schooling £148-16-5 1/2

1799 March Term - Granted Petition for Dower - To the county Court of 
Craven. The Petition of Katherine Lewis sheweth that David Dunn late of 
Craven county deceased was at his death seized in fee of a tract of land 
lying in said county up Neuse river about two miles up said river from 
Newbern, on Depp's Creek containing one hundred fifty acres with a house and 
kitchen and out houses thereon standing to one third of which land the said 
Katherine is entitled as her dower she having been the lawful wife of the 
said David Dunn at and until his death and the said Pet'r pray that her said 
dower may be allotted to her according to law and that the worshipful court 
will make the necessary order for that purpose all parties interested to 
wit; Charles Williams guardinan to David Depp Dunn son and heir of the said 
David Dunn deceased and the said Widower administration, having notice of 
this petition and having consented thereto. Thos Badger for Catherine Lewis.

14 Mar 1787 - Aaron Ernull filed bond for guardianship of David Dunn minor 
orphan.

1803 - Sep Term - State of NC Craven Co Court. Ordered that Benjamin Woods, 
Thomas Webber and William Blackledge be appointed to settle the accounts of 
Aaron Ernull deceased late guardian to David Dun with Charles Williams 
Executor of said Ernull deceased.

17 Jany 1723-4 - Will of Jno Dep - I give unto Penon Dep the 100 acres of land 
which I bought of Peter Hand.

13 Mar 1731-2 - Pen Dep to Jno Dep a tract of land on So side of Neuse River 
contains 100 acres adjacent to Peter Funylis, up said river.

19 Apl 1732 - Patent to Jno Dep, 50 acres adjacent to his former corner tree, 
side of a marsh.

1758 - Jno Dep by will proved 1764 - containing 150 acres as by two patents where 
I now live to his wife for life. Then to David Dunn Junr, his nephew and his heirs.

13 Jun 1801 - David Dep Dunn to Jno Davis - two certain pieces of land on the So 
side of Neuse River:
One piece of land adjacent to Peter Funyls old field (Indians killed), corner of 
Peter Hand land, Deps Creek formerly called Remmy's Creek, Dunns line.
One other piece of land adjacent the above described land and Jno Davis, for 20 
acres and intended to include all land which I the sd D D Dunn own.
