Gieger, Family Plot

Location: Gieger Cemetery on private land in Covington County, south of Collins off Highway 49. This cemetery was "lost" for many years, and is not shown on any maps of Covington County. I located the graves in August 2000. Grandfather Jessie and Grandmother Tobitha are pioneers of the Mississippi Territory, having migrated from Georgia in about 1814-15 before statehood (1817).
