| Meyer and Stewart Cemeteries Direction: From the intersection of 4th Street and 92 Highway in Platte City take 92 Highway west for 4.8 miles and turn right into driveway. This is the Poose Farm. You need to ask permission to get to the cemeteries. From where you park it is about a 300 yard walk up a big hill. It was not an easy walk. Both cemeteries are in a hay field at the top of the hill. The first one is the Stewart Cemetery surrounded by an old iron fence. About another 75 yards up the hill is the Meyer Cemetery surrounded by an old wire fence. |
