| Hawkins Cemetery Directions: From the intersection of 45 Highway and H Highway in Weston take H highway north for 1.9 miles and turn right into the driveway to the Farris Farm. The cemetery is on the left as you go up the driveway. Most of the stones have been knocked over. Some of the larger stones are sinking causing them to tip over. There is eveidence that at one time there has been cattle in the cemetery from some old piles of manure. I found two stones underground and brought them to the surface. One stone can not be read but it looks like it could belong to an Elliston or Elston family member. There were 6 field stones marking graves. |
