| Brown Cemetery Directions: located on the old Brown farm off of Sharp's Station Road. From the intersection of 92 Highway and I-29 at Platte City take I-29 north to exit 20. At end of exit ramp go right which will turn into Elem Grove Road. Go 1.5 miles and turn right on Sharp's Station. Go exactly 6/10 of a mile and as you round a turn there is a pull off on the left. If you go to the corner of the fence and look up the hill you will see a clump of trees just over the top. That is where the cemetery is at. You can not get to it or see it if the crops are in the field. All the stones are broken or knocked over. There are field stones marking some graves. The cemetery needs a good cleaning. |
