OLD CHEATHAM OR INDIAN PRAIRIE CEMETERY, Franklin County, Missouri This cemetery is located outside of Union, Franklin Co., MO on Prairie Dell Rd. It is about a quarter of a mile from Ekey Cemetery. It has a large iron arch at the beginning of the drive. The cemetery sits back from the road but is visible from Prairie Dell. I, Ann Wideman, transcribed this cemetery 5 Apr 2001. I have here only information I found on the tombstones. I have added nothing. I am sure there are more graves here than have markers. Along the fence on one side, there are several pieces of markers piled as if they were removed when the cemetery was being mowed. The back part of the cemetery is the oldest. The cemetery looks tended. Mary (This could be something else that looks like Mary.) E., D/O J. B. & C. (or could be G, D, or O) D. Grei_er, bornd 24 Nov 1903, died 12 Nov 1905 Footstone A. L. E. There are some tombstones in the fences but because of the brush, I could not attempt to read them. Also there are no gates visible for these fenced in areas. Another plot marked by rock wall. It looks as if there are 5 graves here. Only one can be read.
