In April, 1996, a group of genealogists in Kentucky organized a statewide genealogy site. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in the state, where collected information, links and databases would be stored. This project later developed into the USGenWeb Project. The MnGenWeb Project was launched on July, 1996. This Cass Counnty MNGenWeb Project site is part of the MNGenWeb Project and the USGenWeb Project. The Cass County site is coordinated by Kelly J.
