Tombstone Photographs

Location: Joyfield Township Cemetery is located in section 22, T25N, R15W, Benzie County, Michigan. This cemetery is along highway US-31, south of Mick Road. This project required much effort on the part of Harold and Linda Saffron during the late summer of 2004. All gravestone pictures of this cemetery were made with no burial location from Joyfield Township. The Township copied the plat of this cemetery and gave it to us. We then walked the cemetery to locate the lot where the headstones were located. We then placed the lot numbers on the pictures and made an index of the pictures with lot numbers. We may have made errors as we are human, but this should be of great help to people doing genealogy. We wish you luck with your research.
