Tombstone Photographs

Location: Blaine Township Cemetery is located in section 24, T25N, R16W, Benzie county, Michigan. This cemetery is located along highway M-22, near Watervale Road. This project required much effort on the part of Harold and Linda Saffron during October, 2004. All gravestone pictures of this cemetery were made with no burial location from Blaine Township. After the pictures were taken we received a plat of the cemetery and a book with headstones with lot numbers from the township which were used to locate most gravestone locations. We then walked the cemetery to locate the the headstones of the newer burials. We then placed the lot numbers on the pictures and made an index of the headstone pictures with lot numbers. We may have made errors as we are human, and we hope this material will be of great help to people doing genealogy and the township. We wish you luck with your research.
