Know all men by these presents that I John DUNN Esqr Sheriff Charlotte County by virtue of a warrant to me directed by John CURRY, Robert PAGAN and Colin CAMPBELL Esquires for the purpose of selling the lands of the non-resident proprietors in the Parish of Saint George for their quota of work due on the Highways in said Parish, for and in consideration of four pounds to me paid in hand the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge, have sold at Public Auction unto Daniel LEE of the Parish of Saint George yeoman he being the highest bidder all the Right, Title & Interest of George DAWSON in or to a certain tract of land known and distinguished by part of Number Six, situated on the River Magaguadavick as per plan containing four hundred acres more or less, with all the improvements, privileges, profits and appurtenances on said land being or any ways belonging or appertaining unto him the said Daniel LEE his Heirs and Assigns forever.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty Sixth day of November in the year of Our Lord one thousand Seven hundred and ninety one.
