Rev. Abner Josephus Callaway served in many Union Parish churches in (the mid
1800s-early 1900s).  He served the Concord Mission church and Marion Baptist church.
He was also a traveling circuit rider between Georgia and Louisiana.

Abner was born 1848 in Kemper Co., MS; died in 1914 in Union Parish. He was buried
in Concord cemetery along with two of his wives and a number of children.
After three wives, he had many descendants.
