From a Richland Parish Newspaper, but don't know which one or what date published.

We regret to chronicle the death of our old friend Junius Bell which sad event occurred at the residence of Mrs. Choat, one mile west of town, Monday. Mr. Bell was one of the few remaining Confederate Veterans, fought through that struggle with distinction, and has rounded out a long and honorable life. The funeral occurred Tuesday at Coax and was largely attended by relatives and friends. May he rest in peace. Died Aug.28,1922
