-For special needs patients: South of Highway 14 and on the west side of the parish from Meridian Line Road to the Cameron and Jeff Davis Parish line.

Southern portions of Iberia Parish: from the Iberia/Vermilion Parish line, east along Jefferson Island Road to U.S. 90, then south along U.S. 90 to the Iberia/St. Mary Parish line.

evacuees coming to the Houston area:
You can go to the Red Cross hub located off of I-45 at Mile Marker 101. You need to sign in there and they will assign you to a local shelter. You are allowed to bring your pets.
Evacuees will go to a reception area, which is on the northbound side of I-45, south of Huntsville. It is at Mile Marker 101, which is a weigh station (for trucks). They will be assigned and directed to a specific shelter in that area.
