Mary Frances Word was born in Winnsboro on March 28, 1920.  She died in Salt
Lake City, Utah in 1976.  She was the oldest child of Claude Lovelace Word
and Dollie Mae Middleton Word.  She served in World War II and married a
Mining Engineer.  She had one son, Earl Everett.
