Parish, LA, the daughter of Shadrick Emmons and Catharine "Katie"
Morgan*. She died August 1, 1961 in Monroe, Ouachita Parish, LA. Burial
is in New Hope Methodist Church Cemetery, Winn Parish, LA.
* Note---One undocumented source gives Catharine's surname as Mooring. The
death certificate of her son, Simeon Edward Miller, gives her name as Katie
Morgan.
